DECISION No DECISION No. 4894/2002/QD-BYT OF DECEMBER 9, 2002 ANNOUNCING 07 INSECTICIDAL AND GERMICIDAL CHEMICALS AND PREPARATIONS FOR DOMESTIC AND MEDICAL USE, TO BE GRANTED CERTIFICATES OF REGISTRATION FOR CIRCULATION IN VIETNAM THE MINISTER OF HEALTH Pursuant to the Government�s Decree No. 68/CP of October 11, 1993 prescribing the functions, tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Health; Pursuant to the Health Minister�s Decision No. 3486/2001/QD-BYT of August 13, 2001 promulgating the Regulation on management of insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use; Considering the proposal of the Council for expertise and approval of insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use; At the proposal of the Director of the Prophylactic Medicine Department - the Ministry of Health, DECIDES Article 1.- To announce 07 insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use, to be granted certificates of registration for circulation in Vietnam (on the list enclosed herewith). Article 2.- Units having insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use granted with certificates of registration for circulation in Vietnam, shall have to print the granted registration numbers on their labels, with contents being compatible with those inscribed in the circulation registration certificates, and strictly comply with Vietnam�s current law provisions on the management of insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use. Article 3.- This Decision takes effect after its signing for promulgation. Article 4.- The Director of the Office, the Chief Inspector, the Director of the Prophylactic Medicine Department, the directors of Departments under the Health Minister; the Director of Vietnam Pharmaceutical Management Department; the Director of the Department for Management of Foodstuff Quality, Hygiene and Safety; the heads of units under the Ministry, the directors of provincial/municipal Health Services and units having insecticidal and germicidal chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use, which are granted certificates of registration for circulation in Vietnam, shall have to implement this Decision.
